Lebanon Lakes makes local school district news letter

May marks another month when Newcomb Elementary School in Pemberton Township holds its annual 'Career Day'. D/C Morse and FF K.Morse attended the 2007 Career Day with Rescue Engine 2923. D/C Morse went over why he and his son FF K.Morse became firefighters, why they like doing it and he also explained how dangerous it is. After the class had their questions answered, D/C Morse told the class they had brought the Rescue Engine to the school. The class made its way outside and D/C Morse went over R/E 2923s functions, tools and other information while FF K.Morse donned full PPE and SCBA and showed the students that firefighters are here to help and that there's no need to be scared. Rescue Engine 2923 will be returning in 2008 for the next Career Day and LLVFC looks forward to it.
