Pemberton Twp Water Carnival 2007

August 3rd 2007 was the Rain Date for the annual Pemberton Township Water Carnival. Lebanon Lakes Fire Company was invited to attend the carnival to provide coverage for companies that were on the beaches. Rescue Engine 2923 was sent to the carnival along with Command 2920. Rescue Engine 2923 was staged on the dam with Engine 1841 and Rescue Engine 1911 providing call coverage had an emergency arisen in the Country Lakes and Browns Mills sections of the township. Members enjoyed the festivities with the finale fireworks. The 3 apparatus remained on stand-by throughout the evening but didn't turn a wheel.

Control Burn at Local Gun Club 3/10/07

A Local gun club in Woodland Twp. acquired a live burn permit from the NJFFS and was granted permission to burn some brush on their property. One of the members approached Deputy Chief Morse and asked if the Fire Company could have an engine on stand-by at the burn in case an emergency arises. R/E 2923 was on-site and provided coverage for the burn, as well as being on-call for any calls in the township as well as Southampton Twp due to Station 172 (Hampton Lakes Fire Co.) attending a drill in Hunterdon County. A small portion of the fire jumped the fire break but R/E 2923s crew along with the members of the gun club controlled it within a couple of minutes.

Operation Santa Clause 2006
