Lebanon Lakes Volunteer Fire Company & EMS Chief's Page Township Fire Chief Thomas O Toth 2900 E-Mail The Chief
I started firefighting at the age of 16 while I belonged to Lakes Volunteer Fire Company of Medford (Station 241), which is now Taunton Lakes Fire Company (Station 252). After 7 years I moved to Presidential Lakes, located in Pemberton Township. I was a firefighter for 4 years at Presidential Lakes Fire & Rescue Squad (Station 184). I then moved to Lebanon Lakes, located in Woodland Township. I then became a member of the Lebanon Lakes Volunteer Fire Company (Station 292). It was nice to have the training from the previous companies because I was Captain within my first month. Then the Election of 1991 came along, and I have been Chief 2920 ever since. It has been a rough ride, but with the support of surrounding towns and companies, it has been a pleasure. I am hoping that my two daughters, Melissa & Elizabeth, will follow my footsteps and become firefighters-they are halfway there! With the staff and members of 292, we try to do our best. We owe a lot to our members as they are 292. We hope we keep rolling after I'm gone (when will THAT be?) and encourage all to hang on for the ride of their lives.
